What would cause a mother and mother-in-law to have a reaction like this?? One guess....

Biker Leah!

 

 

 

 

We have owed Leah a bike now for awhile so mommy and daddy finally came through. She got to pick it out and of course she chose the princess. Surprise, surprise! She got on and took off! Now she is constantly asking if we can go for a bike ride.

First Day of Preschool

 

 

 

September 1st was Leah's first official day of preschool (meaning, they had to wear uniforms). This is the third 1st day of preschool for her because she has already been going to Parkwood Christian Preschool for 2 years already. It is also her final year of preschool since she will be starting kindergarten next fall. Where does the time go??

Then! Lorene introduced me to the Mecca of cupcakes...Kara's Cupcakes. We purchases dozens to take home. They were lovely and amazing, and sooooo worth driving to San Jose.

We started our day at "The Counter". This awesome burger place where you get to build your own burger. You get your own clipboard and everything...very fun!

 

 

We then made out way into Urban Outfitters and discovered these totally "rad" headphones from the '80s. What you don't see are the lips phone and french fry phone. But you are lucky enough to see us modeling the headphones.

One of our favorite places to go for some sweet refreshment is The Yogurt Mill. Leah has no idea that it's not really ice cream, and that it is lower in fat and sugar (great for Mommy). All she knows is that it is good. If the hot temps keep up, we'll be going more often!

Leah took ballet/tap this year, and I decided to take a dance class too, adult hip hop. I had a jazz/lyrical dancing background, so Hip Hop was a stretch, but it was so much fun! Here are some pics of Leah and I in our costumes.

3 Years!!!

 

 

 

Leah earned her 3 year trophy in gymnastics. She was so excited to get it. Her third year, and she is only 4!
